Crosscultural Choreographical Practices

An intensive weekend workshop led by Gabriela Zuarez will approach the universe of Sur Mundo Ensemble and will focus on the movement material of last Da Capo’s performance. Some concepts and ideas will be explored to achieve the physical language of Sur Mundo company pursued by Zuarez together with her artistic community. The workshop will be divided into two sessions: the first part is a preparatory class with technical elements and the second part is geared as a choreographic practice-lab.

Target: dancers, dance students, movers, actors, performers, tango dancers. Level: advance/ advance Plus. Suitable dance wear: fitting dance wear, pant-knees, contemporary half shoes, socks, or foot gloves.
