Overview
This weekly Yogic Practice for Dancers is a conscious and essential exercise of body and mind.
It unveils a functional and integrated approach to the biomechanics of the dancing-moving body and the domestic physical efforts of life. The practice increases the spiritual space and mind awareness of the dancer.
To start, the practice introduces gentle exercises of body and mind awareness to tune the physical body and to center the mental focus; interlaces the principles of Kundalini Yoga with elements from Hatha Yoga and Flow throughout the entire session. It uses active movement to move from one body posture to another, alternating with active breathing exercises, Pranayama. The practice aims at integral physical conditioning regarding the development of the meditative attitude.
Its primary goal is internal psycho-physical growth and balance, body awareness and physical strength.
